Membership of Corps na hÉireann is open to adults who support the values of Community, Preparedness, and Service.
Applicants must:
• Be 18 years of age or older
• Be of good character
• Have no serious criminal convictions
• Be physically and mentally fit to participate in organisation activities
• Be willing to uphold the standards, values, and code of conduct of Corps na hÉireann
• Support the organisation's commitment to lawful community service and personal development
Applicants must also satisfy one of the following:
• Be an Irish Citizen
• Have at least one Irish parent
• Have at least one Irish grandparent
• Be eligible for Irish Citizenship through descent
• Be a member of the Irish Diaspora with a demonstrable connection to Ireland
• Be of Irish heritage and support the aims and values of the organisation
The annual membership fee is €100 per year.
Once your membership fee has been paid, please click "Send Application" to confirm that you have read and accepted the membership requirements and code of conduct.
As part of your application, you must also submit:
• A recent passport-style photograph for your membership ID card
• Your full name and contact details
Upon approval, your membership card will be produced and posted directly to you.
By submitting your application, you acknowledge that you meet the membership requirements of Corps na hÉireann and agree to uphold the values of Community, Preparedness, and Service.
All applications are subject to review and approval by Corps na hÉireann.
Membership may be refused, suspended, or revoked where an applicant or member:
• Brings the organisation into disrepute
• Engages in criminal activity
• Violates the organisation's code of conduct
• Acts contrary to the values and objectives of the organisation
Corps na hÉireann is a voluntary civic organisation. Membership does not confer any governmental, military, law enforcement, or security authority.
